Dear Kendall Community,

At Kendall College and Career Academy (KCCA), every member of our community is empowered to shine bright and think beyond the walls of the classroom. Our mission is clear and purposeful: to prepare all students for future learning, and ultimately, for success in college, career, and life.

Through our innovative magnet school program, students engage in a curriculum that integrates scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and technological innovation within a project-based learning and workforce development framework. We believe that all students learn best through inquiry — by asking questions, investigating real-world problems, and collaborating to find solutions.

Each day at KCCA, students have opportunities to collaborate, communicate, and connect their learning to authentic experiences that align with core academic standards. Our hallways reflect our mission — lined with college banners, workforce development posters, and inspirational visuals that celebrate equity, opportunity, and the power of education.

Student leadership and voice are at the heart of what we do. From our STEAM Showcase and student-led talk show to our social justice initiatives and ongoing celebrations of learning, we create opportunities that empower students to express ideas, explore passions, and take ownership of their learning.

Through the Project Based Learning Model, we combine innovation and enrichment to help every scholar discover and develop their individual strengths. Our focus on project-based learning and real-world application builds essential skills such as problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and inquiry — the same skills that will serve them well in college and in their future careers.

To demonstrate their readiness for the next chapter, every student completes a capstone project that mirrors age-appropriate expectations at the collegiate level. This culminating experience exemplifies our belief that when students are challenged, supported, and inspired, they rise to every occasion.
