Welcome Back to KCCA 2024-25
Megan Robinson

Dear Kendall Families,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!  We are excited to launch the 24-25 school year and to welcome you to the KCCA family. This letter will provide you with important information as your scholar starts the school year.

As you can imagine, our parking lot will be extremely crowded on the first day. The drop off line is in the main parking lot.  The front loop is for bus drop off only.  Scholars are also welcome to take the bus.  Routes will be posted online.

ARRIVAL and DISMISSAL

The school doors will open at 8:00 a.m. for a free breakfast and morning interactions. We have whole school announcements and Morning Meeting starting at 8:10 a.m. After 8:10 a.m., your child will be marked tardy.

  • If you arrive after 8:10 a.m., you must walk your scholar to the front entrance and sign them in at the security desk.

The dismissal procedure begins at 2:50 p.m.

  • Scholars should remain in school through dismissal so they have a well balanced education, including community engagement and opportunities for rewards.

  • If you need to pick up your child before the 2:50 p.m. dismissal time, you must come into the school to sign them out at the security desk.

As you can imagine, the end of the day is busy. We kindly ask that you do not pick up your after 2:30 p.m., and that you wait until dismissal time. Dismissal pick up is at 2:50 p.m. Grades 1 and 2 will be picked up by the back playground. Grades 3-5 will be picked up in the grass area to the left of the main entrance.

VISITORS
